There’s IML. then Pride, followed by the 4th of July and Mr Midwest Rubber, the big event weekends of summer. Come August, it’s all about Market Days in Boystown with thousands of people packed into 4 blocks this coming weekend. Lots of guys hit town, locals turn out and while the festival is way south of us, they all end up here later. Spend your days there but for the real fun, head on back up to Rogers Park for the wild nights at Touché.
Starting off the weekend is our monthly Leatherwomen’s Cruise Night in the Club Room. We’ll open the Club Room at 8pm for our leather sisters to have some wicked fun. I got word that Sir G will be presenting a flogging demo, that’s sure to “whip up” the crowd.
While the women start up things in the Club Room, at 10pm we’ll get another Porn Poker Party going in the main bar. We’ll distribute playing cards all night and give you chances to win some hot new XXX DVDs from Grab Magazine and Bijou Video.
Grab has provided a stack of two new films “Gays Of Thrones” & “Tarzan” for me to hand out to the winners along of more classic films from Bijou. Lots of hot sexy fantasy fun which we will also display on our screens at the bar. The Club Room will open to all by 11pm and keep jumping to closing time.
Saturday is our popular Dungeon Master Night. Each month we present a demo at midnight in the Club Room so you can learn a bit about various forms of S&M play. We wanted to do something special this weekend for all the tourists. It’s been a while since we presented this month’s topic – bubble wrap bondage. Yes we’ve had several demos on bondage but this one is a unique twist using bubble wrap to “mummify” someone.
Our DM Nights draw great crowds and with the guys in town looking for a hot weekend, it should be even crazier. Get here by midnight and grab a spot in the Club Room to watch. Who knows, maybe we’ll give you a chance to experience some bubble wrap bondage too.
Don’t forget Touché on Sunday.
Our Sunday Beer Bust will be going on all day with $1 drafts of Bud & Bud Light (I’m sure they are not pouring dollar beers on Halsted this day) Once you’ve had your fill of the crowds and heat on the street, come join us for a cold one. The Club Room will open at 6pm for our Sunday Movie Night, we’ve got a new wild comedy lined up for screening at 7pm.
After Market Days weekend, many are done with Summer but not Touché. We’ve still got 2 more great summer weekends planned before the big Labor Day weekend. Next week we have not one but two big events.
I got a call from Alcala’s Western Wear with a request to “make” another cowboy. So we added our “Cowboy Eye for the Leather Guy” makeover contest on Friday, August 18th. As in previous years, we let our hot leathermen compete for the chance to win over $300 in cowboy gear from the hat on his head to the pointed toed boots on his feet. Who will be come our newest cowboy? Come find out or better yet, sign up and you just might be the one. It’s a benefit for the Groceryland Pantry with lots of fun raffle prizes, make sure you bring some non-perishable food items for the pantry, too.
Keeping August hot, the next night Saturday, August 19th is our big boot fetish Gear Night. “These Boots Are Made For Walkin'” in a fun benefit for the Chicago House AIDS Walk Team. It’s Gear Night, so get your’s on and show off your hottest boots. We’ll have guest bootblacks to make certain they look their best. More great raffle prizes including a new pair of Chippewa Boots from Leather 64TEN are just part of the fun.
Another weekend with 2 big nights!
Speaking of the AIDS Walk, I’m still looking for folks to walk with me and the Touché Team for Chicago House on Sunday October 1st. Look for me at the bar or drop me a line at ToucheChicago@gmail.com.
Not to rush summer, but the fall bowling season will begin after Labor Day and we’re looking for folks to bowl on our Tuesday teams. Again see me at the bar, leave your name and number with the staff or drop me a line.
Okay, with lots of out of town guests, you can bet we have some preparations to finish before things take off on Friday. Come check, you’ll see we’re ready for you.
